    Yes he definitely Didnt look after himself, typical 60s and 70s rockstar overindulgence of everything they could get their hands on.

      He was such a likeable front man with an infectious smile. With Vanda and Young churning out the songs, The Easybeats should have been bigger than they were overseas.

        Yep. It did him in the end, he just couldn't keep away.

            One of the great frontmen in music history. Charisma for days. An integral part of a band that was a game changer for the Australian music industry.

              They were a game changer. The Easybeats, The Birthday Party, the Saints and maybe AC/DC are the most influential/innovative Australian bands for mine.
              They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                    They should and would have been much bigger if they'd had a less self serving manager. Stevie and George actually wrote most of their early hits until Harry took over. A truly multicultural band.
