    RIP George Martin

The music came from the Beatles – but it was George Martin’s willingness to step outside the boundaries of what was acceptable that helped make them special

Been a sad week for the music industry. Ross Hannaford, John English and now the great producer of nearly all The Beatles work and many others. As a major influence on the development of The Beatles sound, his impact on popular cannot be overstated. Good article on him above.

    RIP George Martin.

Not a good time to be a aged/ageing ex musician.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

That's why I said aged. These days 60ish isn't aged, it's ageing. 50ish is spring chicken.
