    Choof, King parrot and Pantera

So my sons band released a video they did at old Geelong jail last week which was the feature video on rage last week . King parrot have asked him to tour Europe in February with them as the bass player , he has accepted. His last gig on that tour is at Wembley stadium backing up Pantera.
Pretty massive and yes I reminded him of the Freddie Mercury concert at live aid .

That’s awesome Ledge. You must be hugely proud.
My 14 yo son has just started playing and him and some mates played their first gig recently, smashing out a bunch of Nirvana covers at a birthday party. Was surprisingly not bad given their age.
It’s a joy to watch as a parent.

My son started playing in pubs at 16 . A parent had to attend as he was under 18. The music my son plays is full on , not my cup of tea but you support your children . He is 33 now. He did open one year at sound wave and Metallica was the band who played after him.

An update on my son’s band “choof”. They are touring NZ in November and apparently there is a massive festival in the Czech Republic every year in June , my sons band have been signed to play at it and are looking at doing about 15 shows around Europe while there .
They do a lot of shows in NSW and Queensland which seems to be where that kind of genre is popular.
