Brian Wilson, the creator, composer and brains behind the Beach Boys has gone ahead.
From a tormented childhood at the hands of his father, he formed the band with his 2 brothers, cousin and friend. As well as being the songwriter, he unusually, became their producer in his 20's. Resulted in a breakdown and had stopped touring before he turned 25. Drugs , mental struggles and bad relationships didn't prevent his writing some of the most influential songs of his generation. A gentle soul who seemed happiest alone creating.
