Besides, what does beware of bears even mean? You can't outrun them. Should you be conscious of their feelings or fragile self esteem?

If you are 22 paces away, they won't catch you. The warning sign said, if you see one don't run, stay still and they should go away

Bears are tiny in Japan. They are probably after a treat if they chase you. Never been to Koya San but sounds cool. Thanks for the report.

Missed the Geelong and Brisbane games, but listened in on the radio app while riding the subway in Tokyo and walking through Kyoto.
Very warm weather, summer would be tough in the cities I reckon. Loved Japan, will hang my hat on that holiday for a while. I'll have some videos on my YouTube channel in a few weeks if anyone wants to be bored witless by my poor editing and boring recollections!

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I didn't go in, looked crazy. Spent an evening up and down those surrounding streets. It was great fun, the bright lights and atmosphere. A little bit overwhelming at times, but really good fun. Ate Japanese curry and knocked down a handful of high balls, which as a non drinker for 8 years wasn't the wisest choice, but that's what holidays are for!
