    Board Games

Any other WOOFers into board games?

Seems like board games are going through a real boom at the moment. We started getting into it a few years ago, with the Ticket To Ride series. There are a lot of really good games out there, what it has meant in my household is much less TV, much more sitting together around the table.

Highly recommend having a look, and digging a bit deeper than your Monopoloies, Scrabbles etc if you are curious about it as a hobby.

    A few worth a look:
    Azul
    Santorini
    Alhambra
    Rising Sun.
    Sushi Go
Time and Tide Waits For No Man

Been playing scrabble with various people via FB messenger. I'd forgotten how much fun it can be.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

        Big fan of board games.

Sushi Go is a ripper as an entry level game, as is ticket to ride and settlers of catan. Once you start with them it can escalate quickly.

Also a big fan of Powergrid, Ra, Castles of Mad King Ludwig, Resistance and Terraforming Mars.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

I can recommend a game called Reef, if people are into puzzles and abstract / spatial thinking.
