Absolutely shattered about the death of the Funkman. This is probably his most iconic scene in Curb but there are dozens more where he completely steals the screen. As with most scenes in Curb this one was completely ad-libbed - https://youtu.be/3o5m_mXadoU

I hope he was able to film some scenes for season 10 before he passed away - would love to see some more Funkhouser gold.

Loved Funkhouser. Great character and a very funny actor, not able to replace him on curb either in the exact role he played alongside Larry David either. They had such a fun on screen chemistry (as with most on curb). Did a 'comedians in cars drinking coffee' with Seindfeld too which is worth watching. I wonder if they will address it on curb and make fun with it through Larry's quirks (a great way for a comedian to go out on).

Funk man was my fav character on Curb really hope they shot some scenes with him in the current filming of season 10
