    Happy New Year Woofers

I would just like to wish all woofers out there a Happy New Year. I'm hoping for a very successful year in 2020 hopefully culminating in a premiership and a successful decade for the club. Would be great to get a chance to meet some of you woofers in the future at the footy.

You too Easty. We will have to meet up at the footy next year. In fact just come to level one, aisle 31 (Kelvin Templeton's old number) and standing there behind the seating will be a bunch of middle aged blokes taunting the opposition supporters. If you can spot the biggest trouble maker, then that will be me!

Otherwise just yell "Easty's here" and I will find you.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Yep sounds good Twodogs. My reserve seat is L1 A33 so not far from there at all.

What a decade ... started with the birth of my son (EJ) and yet my favourite memory was on the 1st October 2016. I cried real tears on both days .

I’m hoping the next decade brings a few more happy tears.

          Happy 2020 to all

If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Talking of tears on GF day. I am standing there hugging Firstdog after the siren and acting very grown up and refusing to cry until Bevo gave his medal to Murph (I still get a little bit teary just thinking about it). and then I lost it and the tears flowed.

I always thought I would cry with a GF win, but I didn't. I didn't even cry when we won the Prelim, however, when I watch the replays, a tear does come to my eye.

When the siren went and we won the prelim I just took off running yelling "YES, YES, *!*!*!*!ING YES!!!!!!!" (I was at home and we were living in a block of units) while my son was standing at the upstairs window yelling "*!*!*!*! YEAH! *!*!*!*! YEAH! YOU *!*!*!*!ING BEWDY!!!!!! YEEEESSSSSS!!!".

By the time I had stopped and turned around my Mexican next door neighbor was sitting around a BBQ with half a dozen or so of his mates with quizzical looks on their faces. I remember thinking "How do I explain this?" and then it came to me. I turned around and held my hands up and just said "football" and he said "Ah yes my friend. We understand football"

We ended up (literally) dancing in the street most of the rest of the night!

That prelim would have to be with the GF our best ever games. What a night that was. I was at home watching and did get a tear in my eye. I wish next that we could win a prelim at the G so I can go and witness it myself.

Well what a crazy year 2020 has been!

I would like to wish all woofers a very safe and happy new year.

Let's hope 2021 gets back to some kind of normal. I have missed going to the footy this year watching the Dogs. Keen to head back to the footy again in 2021 and hopefully I might meet up with some of you as well.

Let's go for the flag in 2021!

                          Go Dogs!

It certainly has been a memorable year. Happy new year all and let's hope we can get back to going to the footy in person in 2021.

Yeah still would love to catch up one day at the footy Twodogs. We would have a good conversation I reckon particularly about the Bulldogs in the 70s and 80s and learning some of the stuff of that time being a more younger Dogs supporter. Would probably have a better chat at the family day though in the future.
