    Ireland is in Britain isn't it? But you are right under those terms the Undertones are from Northern Ireland and thus not British, or is it the other way around?

            It could be a sub category - it could also include American & Australian bands that should be English that are not.

                            Yep ... disappointed there is no option for the Beatles. Love sitting and listening to them on vinyl with my 9 year old boy.

                                Yep, it would have been Beatles for me too for a band who's music influenced a lot of people over a decade.
                                A mate of mine played a couple of their songs to his then 16 year old son who didn't know who they were and he couldn't get enough of them.
