    Best Broswers

Interested to hear what internet browsers WOOF members use?

I was a Firefox user for a long time but about 3 months ago it started dropping out from time to time so I went looking for another. I've been using the Brave browser since just before Xmas and I find that it's incredibly faster than Firefox and Chrome.

Let me know what you use and if there is a good reason behind it?

IE and have moved onto Edge. But I do flip between Chrome and Firefox if the site is not working the best with Microsoft.
It's the preferred browser at work so I stick with what I use the most.

I've been a chrome user for yonks! I used to use Firefox years and years ago but I switched to Chrome when they brought out tabs on the browser and a log in account so your bookmarks would be personalised no matter what computer you used. Other browsers may have had these features first but once I saw it on Chrome I loved it and switched and have never looked back.

I saw Brave advertised just the other day and have been meaning to check it out.

I am a Chrome user and like Ratsmac like the fact that I can pickup from any computer the same pages, bookmarks, and even passwords. Any non banking or important passwords are stored in my Google account, so I don't need to remember them.

I have tried other broswers, but find the features of Chrome a lot better.

I use Safari on my iphone/ipad and it works relatively well and use Chrome on my computer.

Just started using Brave too a couple of weeks ago G after reading your recommendation. I was having a lot of problems with Chrome dropping out. Is fast and so far not one drop out.

Having an issue on Chrome my with Google Maps. It is blank when I get into it. Wondering if any woofers have experienced this before and what the best way is to fix it.

I've always found that most issues can be resolved by clearing the cache. You'd be surprised the amount of data browsers save to make things appear quicker, but sometimes it can cause issues. Give it a try.

When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites. In Chrome

Argh I don't have a lot of experience with Macs sorry. Other than use Firefox or Safari I couldn't find a lot.

This similar issue blames some newly installed security software https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7516824

Others say try in incognito mode, but it might be a bit of trial and error and trawling forums.
