I can remember sitting in class at school talking through the previous day's Goodies episode. It's funny how we could see it just the once (no VCRs back then) but could recall it forensically the next day
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Man that sucks. I loved the Goodies when I was a kid.

Marge and Tina shedding a tear no doubt.

His scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is possibly the best in the whole movie. The deadpan look his observers delivery to his buffoonery is magic.
                    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I cried when I heard this. Tim was my favourite Goodie. Did a binge watch with my 15 year old yesterday. RIP Timbo.

                        Vale Tim,
it says a lot about the comradeship of the Goodies, after 50 years in the biz and still good mates and working together.

Another Goodies fan as a youngster here. Sad to hear. Will have to dig out the best of DVD.

I was flicking around goodies thing online and found this about the ‘ecky thump’ episode, which I’d not ever heard:

“The episode is infamous for the documented example of a man laughing to death. Fifty-year-old Alex Mitchell could not stop laughing for a continuous 25-minute period—almost the entire length of the show—and suffered a fatal heart attack as a result of the strain placed on his heart. Mitchell's widow later sent the Goodies a letter thanking them for making his final moments so pleasant”.
