This known as the Hyde Street Band The Station Hotel on the other corner. Footscray High School I think didn’t have a (Year 12) Form 6 for a little while.

I did year 12 at Footscray high. I think that they had years 7-12 right up until Kennett closed it in the early '90s

Same as Twodogs. Now known as Footscray City Primary just behind the Footscray Town Hall.

They did have a primary school Easty for years 1 to 6 then there was a separate school Footscray Central...Hyde st....only years 7 and 8. I went to Yarraville West Primary school before that. After year 8 the smart ones went to University High School whilst I went to Williamstown High School.

Never say never BAD. Grew up in the east particularly more outer east area (Vermont South which I’ll always have an affinity to) but really warming to the inner west area now.

Easty as a young fellow, just go where you think you'll fit in best and have the most fun. Life will work itself out around you if you do that. The west will always be there, as will the east. Apparently there's a south and a north too, even a central if you believe the rumous.

I caught an Elephant Shark off Altona pier many years ago. It was one of my best catches ever. Nowadays I mainly fish at Newport at a spot called the warmies. It's at the river under the Westgate. The water is warm because the power station flushes water out there and the warm water attracts lots of fish.

For some reason TD when I read your post it reminded me of the great Groucho Marx's and, "One morning I shot an elephant in my pyjamas. How he got in my pyjamas, I don't know."
