    TV Commercials

Some funny tv commercials about ...

My favourite one at the moment is the Foxtel IQ Ad it is so catchy - shows a couple go through life with the changing evolution of tv technology through the adult years, after each change the guy lets out a whistle, sees his son grow up and then at the end of Ad his son lets out a whistle when the IQ2 segment is shown, his dad looks on as if to say hey, that was my whistle. Top Ad. Was out to dinner the other night with friends and I did that whistle as a joke, everyone cracked up laughing as they recognized the whistle from that Ad.

My favourite is the bundy bear one at the rugby when the bloke tells another fan where the ref is from.
He is also in the latest IQ advert using the whistle.

I think the ad where a Dad asks his son to get him a beer and the son comes back with a beer but now he is a grown man and he asks his son for a beer and his son goes to the fridge and gets him a beer and comes back a grown man and then he asks his son to get him a beer and on it goes. It's a great ad that targets generational alcoholism and I think it's really well done.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I like 2 of the ads previously mentioned (the Foxtel IQ ad and the beer ad) as well. I heard on the radio the other day that the AAMI ad is the most annoying on television but I quite like it. I can relate to Amy's (I'm guessing this is her name) scheming methods and how she obviously gets her own way and what she wants from Todd. I always get my own way so this ad makes me laugh!

I hate all AAMI adds. Since they were on during the cricket in 06/07 I have hated them with a pashion

My favourite ad for some reason is the windex one with the two magpies(?) ringing the doorbell and then shutting the sliding door so he smashes into it when he comes back from answering the door.

Ads I can't stand right now are the stupid Dominoes ones, with those cheerleaders who can't dance to save their lives, and the 'supercalifreakingawesome' one. Horrible.

For some reason, I like the '200 killer wasps' ad, even though colleagues of mine can't stand it. I enjoy stupid humour, what can I say? In saying that, it's been on a few too many times now.

That would have to be one of the worst going around. Firstly its a dubbed American ad with Aussie voices and then it makes Magpies look intelligent which can't be true.

I think its a poor campaign. Basically saying its wrong to learn about drinking responsibly from your parents? What are parents suppose to do hide alcohol from there kids?

How about educating people to eat and drink and not just drink?

They are standing around a BBQ.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Watching it, the ad is about passing on old habits be they bad or good not about eating before you drink which is why you see many people blotto.

AAMI: "Todd, dammit, you're created a monster! Run for your life!"

As Arnie would say, what a hen-pecked girlieman.

I do like the four & twenty salad plate ad. The Weather World ad makes me smile, simply because it's the same ad that's been running on Channel 31 for 2 years. They could've replaced everyone with models, but kept the same vision. Respect.

Though she is gorgeous but obviously not very bright. How many times can you save on car insurance? The so called around $300 saving would not have bought her a good engagement ring as well as a trip to Paris.
