    R.I.P Sean Lock

Sorry to hear of the passing of brilliant British comic Sean Lock. Had just watched him on an episode of 8 out of 10 Cats prior to reading the news. A regular on that show and QI among others as well as a top notch stand up comic. Vale Sean.

He was hilarious, some of his 8 out 10 does countdown segments were VERY funny.

      My favourite Sean Lock moment.

I felt like he was the one comedian on all of the British panel shows who consistently made me laugh out loud. Sad loss, but I've spent the last hour or so watching clips on Youtube and it brought some joy to my night.

        RIP

Terrible news. I always enjoyed his wry humour and his glib one liners.
The carrot in a box game was hilarious, both times they did it.

                Gold.

I can't help but think the jokes on the audience and its all staged but despite my cynicism they pull it off beautifully.

I've been watching Sean for years in all the various panel shows like QI and 8/10... He's a genius it's a real loss.

I knew he'd been unwell; far too young.

Just looking at the reactions of these guys though, I don't reckon this skit was staged.

One of my favourite Sean 8 out of 10 Cats does countdown moment was when Jimmy asked Rachel how she avoided being recognised when she went snow skiing. (See video below from about 3min 40seconds in.
Rachel then put on a sort of Viking like helmet and a scarf that covered her face up to her mouth and looked like a beard.

Sean very deadpan just goes 'That's a challenging wank'

The other great ones (7min 44sec in video) were when he Jimmy asked him what his greatest achievement was....He went on to riff about ' that time I went seal clubbing...and just riffed on that for a couple of minutes..before then going to to say it might have been when he won the Rectum of the year contest.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
