    Vale Basia

Legendary SBS Rock Around the World host Basia Bonkowski died today. Anyone interested in music back in the '80s loved Basia. She was the coolest person on Australian TV back then.

    RIP Basia.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

She certainly was. And married Kimball from the original Gurus.
    RIP Basia, we love you.

Because I'm not cool and have no knowledge of the Painters and Dockers back catalogue - are they pronouncing her name BAH-SEE-YAH??
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell

Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

And we all found heaven - 2016 Premiers!

Yep exactly. And don't worry Dotw, the dockers if anything were anti-cool; they even let me get up on stage with them!

First time I took my kids to a Dockers gig they got me up on stage to sing backing vocals on a song. (you're going home in the back of a divvy van) I remember looking out into the crowd and seeing the kids just staring with their jaws on the ground. Dad was pretty cool that day!
