    I'm tickled pink!!!

    Homicide: Life of the Street is back to Foxtel!!!!

    Nothing compares in this genre and no character compares to Pembleton.
    Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023

      Interesting you say that. Can't say i've seen the show, but one show that would compare is The Wire.
      Funnily enough it is also based in Baltamore and David Simon has a lot to do with both shows.

      have you seen the Wire?

      I must also track down Homicide: Life on the street then!!
      More of an In Bruges guy?

              You'll first see Detective John Muntz too, who Law and Order stole.

              Haven't seen the wire though.

                  I love Homicide: Life On The Street, unfortunately I don't have Foxtel and it's not locally available on DVD so it's been a while since I've seen it.

                  Watch The Wire though, it's equally as good if not better. I just watched the last ep of Series 4 and it was easily one of the best hours of television I've ever seen.

                      I dont have foxtel either.

                      I'm up to episode 5 of season 4 of the wire. Such a great show and it is getting better.

                          After seeing the first two episodes - already some hilarious lines:

                          "She wanted to do it Iguana Style"
                          "Iguana style?!!!"

                          And when Bolander was trying to chat up the Aussie Coroner - the look on Munch's face when he started the conversation about "crabs".

                          And of course:

                          Don't talk to me like I'm Montell Williams!!!
