ANIMAL COLLECTIVE

Vaselines, Jarvis Cocker and Afrika Bambataa would be good. Don't think i'll be going with a 2 and a half year old and a heavily pregnant (by then) missus though. Might just try for the AC sideshow.

Oh by the way if no one noticed Future of the Left are on Falls and at the Corner on Jan 8th. If you don't see them you are, officially on all government records, a bit thick in the head.

Not massively, Band of Horses are pretty good but this will be no 3 in the Golden Plains/Meredith listings in 3 years.
Jarvis Cocker from curiosity alone will be great, The Bang Gand Dee Jays was good for a 2am freakout of some weird chick last time.

Meredith is as much about the vibe anyway. I'm assuming there are a few more local acts to be added - someone smaller getting a slot like Kids of Zoo would be brilliant (can I nominate Mammoth Mammoth?).

When the hell did Tumbleweed re-appear?
I'll have to bring out the old cd's and put on my flannies, grow my hair and pretend i'm a teenager again.

Heavy Trash is a good one, the RCR i think tour here almost annually. Still tops though.

Did anyone else wet their pants at the announcement of the Soundwave lineup? I couldn't give a toss about seeing new wave emo bands but am willing to trample the scores of tweens to see the Faith No More reunion show!
