Australian TV legend Don Lane has died aged 75.
He had been living in a nursing home in Melbourne and was suffering from dementia.
Lane was diagnosed with the degenerative disease in 2005.
Along with Graham Kennedy and Bert Newton, he will be remembered as part of a trio of legendary TV stars from the 1970s and 80s who ruled the airways when variety shows drew millions of viewers each week.
Lane was rewarded with nationwide fame and many Logie Awards and was later inducted in the TV Week Logie Awards Hall of Fame, but his physical and mental decline followed and he was not seen in public over the last few years. (ACA VIDEO: Lane's final TV interview)
