Thanks Mighty West. I missed this last week, but will set the IQ for this weekend - I don't know if it was just because I grew up in the 80s, but I love a lot of those songs. (Although some, like Marilyn were very sad too!!)

The ABC have been showing these episodes for around 10 years, always funny seeing Molly stumble his way through every episodeBest concert I attended in the 80's was the Angels at the Venue in around 85 and the worst was Uncanny X-men at Skinner Reserve in Feb 5. Notable mentions Dragon at Billboard,The Oils at Lakeside Oval ,Prince at the Tennis centre,Hoodoo Gurus at the Grainstore. Not so notable mentions Wa Wa Nee at the grainstore [they were awful]

The X Men would have been pretty rough at Skinners in the 80's..

I remember a freebie gig at the Hatt reserve in Willy [on the beach], would have been 87'ish, i was there with a mate on our BMX's, Sunnyboys played, as well as Pseudo Echo and a few others, those were the days of free concerts..

How did you go Td, all worked out on the HDD?

Going by that performance, we can see why the 80's is quite often known for big hair..

I remember a freebie gig at the Hatt reserve in Willy [on the beach], would have been 87'ish, i was there with a mate on our BMX's, Sunnyboys played, as well as Pseudo Echo and a few others, those were the days of free concerts..
Can'y remember much about it. teenage hormones were running out of control back then!Psuedo Echo were a band before their time IMHO. Just a pity they're just remembered for the remake of ''Funky Time''.

I always thought A Beat For You was a pretty cool new romantic / pop tune in it's day, but they tried to be what they were not, and reform into a rock band with their 3rd album "Race", they lost the electro Simmons drum kits & hand held Roland synth for real drums & guitars, and it just didn't suit their style, failed miserably for them, and that was all she wrote.
