Disagree - we've lost a great source of information that we will never be likely to replace now.

That, and he was writing a book on his version of events which would have been quite the read.

Maybe he could've provided more information on corrupt cops, but I would never waste my hard earned buying a book about him. Never watched that Underbelly show either.

I don't think anyone's losing any sleep over what happened, but you raise a valid point. Perhaps he was starting to tell too much?

Either that, or there was the chance for him to tell too much.

Given his daughter is in private school (paid for by the police) and he was not found for 25 minutes despite being in a maximum security section of a jail with more CCTV cameras than Rudd's had plane flights, this doesn't sound like a case of just one pissed off jailmate.
