What was the point of the climb? Do they just change the lightbulb and come down?
It just kept going and going though, everytime I thought they were at the top they climbed another ladder. Thats insane.
Going down would be the bit that would worry me though. I love climbing things but once I have to get back down to ground level I lose all confidence and it takes me twice as long.
The camera on someone else's head was what caused most of the disorientation for me -- if it was my own head and my own inner ear balance I was relying on, it would actually be a pretty cool job.
No fear of heights, but I do wonder about the lack of safety harness -- surely it wouldn't be allowed to happen in Australia due to our stricter OH&S laws.
Been feeling light headed and dizzy all week. Finally went to doctors today and was diagnosed with a mild case of vetigo. I just watched about 1 minute of that video and had to turn it off, I fair dinkum thought i was going to throw up.
I also suffer with vertigo at stages. Heights never worried me (when i was at the empire state building years ago), but have only had vertigo issues over the last 2 years.
Like most here, how the hell does he get down and i would love to know how many times a year he had to do that and for what pay.
I can't understand ppl who jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane, whoever anyone who volunteers for that job derserves a parachute. and no Pay packet would be worth enough
