She was only 27 yet it's amazing she made it that far such was the punishment she inflicted on herself. A sad waste of talent.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I honestly thought she'd pull a Keith Richards and somehow outlive us all. Sad, though.

She'd almost emulated his facial features.

Disgrace. Another wasted musical talent taken to young.

Such an incredibly sad story. With her history of drug and alcohol use, and self-harm, this was inevitable, unfortunately. I read a comment from her mother (made a while ago) telling of her watching her daughter slowly killing herself.

            Very sad indeed. RIP Amy.

Didn't James Morrison, Jimi Hendricks, Janis Joplin and Kurt Cobain all die at 27?

I am a professional musician and have played with, and sung with many talented people.
But Amy Winehouse was a rare gem.
                    She was the real thing.
A once in a generation talent.
It's been so sad to watch her disintegration from a distance.
Recovering, looking pale and dishevelled, tortured, disturbed, fragile, self destructive,
                    all these descriptions are sad,
                    but how about this one............

                    Dead.

Don't really know what to say now.
