Any Electronic Music Fans Amongst The Woofers?

Hi Woofers. As you may or may not be able to tell from my avatar and those previous (because I'm sure that you all pay attention to that) that I'm a bit of an electronic music listener.

My preferences lie with Progressive House, Techno, Tech House, House and Breaks. I suppose I like the deeper and more twisted varieties of the genres I've just mentioned, but anything that is original and non-generic electronica is OK by me.

Are there any other Woofers that are into these styles? Would be interested to know whether there are any fellow Dogs supporters into the non-conventional, more eclectic sounds of electronic music.

If you can get through the first thirty seconds of each track I'll be very impressed. At the end of the day, it's utter tripe, but I love it!

Really enjoyed the first one; could quite happily listen to that all day. The last one wasn't too bad either ... The middle three I'm pretty sure were the same song with different pictures showing ... doof doof music

I enjoy a bit of electronic music every now and then. I like Ratatat, although LP4 wasn't as good as some of their earlier stuff.

I'm a fan. Started with Utah Saints and Prodigy in the late 80's/early 90's and I became a pretty big raver up until the late 90's. Still love electro and am getting into Knife Party and Skrillex lately.

Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers are my all time favourites and think it's awesome that they are still making the best Electro out there, even after all these years.

I couldn't be bothered going in to the history of electronic music in this thread, rather I just posted the styles that I'm most interested in and put up some current examples.

Yeah, the middle three are all fairly clsoe in style and you kind of have to like that type of music to be able to put up with it enough to see the differences.

Chef - Can't get into the new wave electro or dubstep sound. I liked the twisted breakbeat that was being pushed in the mid 00's, some of the Skrillex stuff kind of reminds me of that.
