Re: When a band loses their mojo
The Offspring - Americana (the start of their decline IMO)
Bon Jovi - Keep the Faith (love their first 4 albums, nothing has stood out since)
Foo Fighters - a tough one. Would say One by One was the start of the mediocre albums, but I really love Wasting Light, think it's one of their best apart from The Color and the Shape. Have they found their mojo again??
Metallica - Load - but again, I really like Death Magnetic, so another band that have 'found their mojo' again, IMO.
Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns. Loved everything up until this one, the new album Living Things isn't wowing me either. But I will listen to it a lot to learn it in time for Soundwave.Comment

Re: When a band loses their mojo
They started losing it with the green album and maladroit but then lost it completely with Make Believe - gee they've used up a lot of goodwill since they released their flawless first 2 albums.
Harsh call on Radiohead - big fan of King of Limbs.
Dandy's is a good call - Earth to Dandy Warhols is indulgent dribble compared to their excellent earlier albums.
Melon Collie would have been one of the great single albums of all time but over the course of 2 albums there's quite a few forgettable tracks - Billy Corgan needed a better editor."Look at me mate. Look at me. I'm flyin'"Comment
