    Bruce Springsteen

It's been 10 long years since my idol Bruce Springsteen toured Australia - finally the day has come and he has announced an Australian tour.

I am so looking forward to his concerts in March - at Rod Laver Arena and Hanging Rock.

Anyone else going to see him and the E Street band perform?

Will goto both gigs in Vic. My mate saw him in NYC, what an amazing show it must have been.

Can it be considered an Australian Tour if he's not going to all states ... Not coming to Perth !!

Yes, he is absolutely amazing live I've seen him a few times both here and overseas.

A few acts seem to bypass both Perth & Adelaide, don't know why that is - I feel for the fans having to miss out from those states.

Perth and Adelaide always seem to miss out. Tassie too.

I stood outside the fence at the Myer Music Bowl and heard him with the E Street band back in the late '80s (was it that long ago?). I could see the shadows on the ceilng of the venue too. I went three or four nights and it was some of the best free entertainment ever.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

The Melb showgrounds concert in 1985 that will live on in my mind forever what an awesome day that was, I remember when I got home my dad was telling me that he could hear Bruce singing and we lived two suburbs away from the Showgrounds.

I went to the 2nd of the Showground concerts in 85. It was brilliant.
Went along to the Etihad Show earlier this decade, 2003 I think.
Seriously considering cancelling the family camping gig at Easter to get to Hanging Rock, although we are camping at Whitfield which is only 2 hrs 48 minutes away from Woodend.

Won't be the same without Clarence Clemons and Danny Federici in the line up, but The Boss is "The Boss" and he will demand nothing but the best from the replacements.

Clarence Clemons an ultimate legend he can never be replaced - Jake Clemons his nephew from all reports is an awesome saxophonist in his own right can't wait to see him do his stuff live. Very true, "The Boss" will get the best, no matter what.

                  Favourite album of posters?
I only own two Wrecking ball and Nebraska. Not sure if they are typical The Boss albums. I brought Nebraska last year and it is such an amazing album, even though Amazing story telling and superb songs. Released in 1982 it still stands up today.
More of an In Bruges guy?

I know...I saw that there was some petition going on from the WA Fans wanting to get him there - hopefully, by some miracle he gets over there to you guys. No NZ shows either.
