    Best/Worst Music Collaboration

    Best: Bowie and Queen. Brilliant.

Worst: Bowie and Jagger. Agree with Family Guy, worst song and film clip ever. " it happened and we let it happen.

Under Pressure is a fantastic, great, super song. The lines "Love's such an old fashioned word" and "Love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night" give me chills every time.

I'm no great Ben Harper fan, but the below cover is remarkable.

Also love the Public Enemy/Anthrax "Bring The Noise". Not for everyone though.

I defy anyone to find a worse collaboration/cover than below. I can't even make myself name them.

Bring the Noise is awesome, love that song!!

Aerosmith/Run DMC 'Walk This Way' is another good collaboration.

Those rap and rock collaborations paved the way for nu metal/rap rock in the 1990s.

Really? I regard that as a travesty. Each to their own of course, but it turned a simple love song into an overblown harpy wail. Couldn't stand it.

That's a pretty good point ED, so maybe we should be blaming them for Limp Bizkit and Korn?

Limp Bizkit and Korn aren't crap because they are 'nu-metal', they are crap because they are crap. Compare their insipid recordings to a masterpiece like 'Angel Dust' from Faith No More - they are not a million miles apart stylistically but Angel Dust is light years ahead in quality and impact.

The worst collaboration I've heard was completely unnecessary - U2 rerecording 'One' with Mary J Blige. The original is almost the perfect song - all the raw emotion of the original was wiped away by overblown faux-emotion and was transformed into a shitful mess of a song.

I'm not really into FNM, but you should feel dirty for even putting those three bands in the same paragraph, regardless of your intent .

Great get with Anthrax and Public Enemy.

Questionable, but I was a certain age when Cave and Kylie came out.....

I didn't think this was a collaboration being they were both members of Thin Lizzy but after a little browsing it was after Thin Llzzy broke up.

But yes it's a great song.
