The original House of Cards was a 4 part British programme in the 90's, which was fantastic viewing. Now Netflix have produced a 13 part series starring Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood.

Currently showing on Foxtel's Showtime (Tuesday 8.30) or if you have access to Netflix, you can watch the whole 13 episodes (as I have ). I have loved every episode and highly recommend it.

Also just announced is a season two.

Glad they've kept the initials FU.

The original series was fabulous, it gave me chills as a 20-something political naif. My parents have the DVD, I must re-watch it. The new version sounds promising too.

I loved the first two, but the third of the originals kind of lost me.

Yep the original HOC was fantastic. Ian Richardson was pure evil as Francis Urquhart. To Play The King was pretty good too. Michael Kitchen's impersonation of prince Charles was extraordinarily good. The Final Cut was a bit meh butI didnt see the end coming-it was quite a twist in the tail.


Spacey is excellent as FU in the US version. The first two eps were a bit slow but then it really took off.

I don't mind the US version, a little slow for me. Perhaps it my high expectations from how brilliant the UK version is.

Season two commences this weekend. For those with Netflix or Foxtel, you can binge all the episodes one after the other.

Can't wait, was one of the best new shows in 2013. Kevin Spacy is brilliant.

No because its an HBO production. If you subscribe to HBOGo you can. The only way to do that is find someone in the USA who will sell you a password. there are ways and means of doing that.

Just to be clear HBO Go doesn't put the whole season up at once like Netflix. It will have the previously aired episodes.
