Re: Sitcoms
Some notables I don't think have been mentioned: Curb your Enthusiasm, Flight of the Concords, 30 Rock and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Possibly Louie Archer and Delocated depending on if you class them as sitcoms
While Eastdog mentioned they were popular in the 90s I think they're still popular but less instantly recognizable sine the early 2000s with shows like the Office (UK) and Arrested Development showing that if you ditch the cheesy studio audience (or even worse the canned laughter) you can pack in lot's more jokes and set a better or more realistic tone.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Comment

Currently getting into The League. It's already right up there in my all time faves Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, & Bored to Death.Comment

Re: Sitcoms
Another I forgot is The Royle Family. Has anyone seen it? It is a British television show which ran for 3 series from 1998 to 2000. For fans of The Office Uk and Extras it is a must see.Comment

Re: Sitcoms
One of the great things about having teeneage kids is going back and watching TV shows you used to like with them. Some age well and some dont.
Taxi is one of the greatest TV shows of all time. Andy Kaufman is a genius. They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

Re: Sitcoms
I love it. Charlie Kelly is actually one of the best characters ever. The humour in it isn't everyones cup of tea, but I think it's great (especially for an American creation). Season 3 and 4 are the best IMO.Comment

Re: Sitcoms
It may not be trendy with the hipster set like Arrested Development, Louie or Always Sunny but I'm a sucker for Everybody Loves Raymond. Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.Comment
