    Your Favourite Kids Movie/Animated Movie

Was up the other night with my 18 month old who is teething and has an earache, and won't sleep by himself at the moment, and we found ourselves watching Toy Story 3 for the first time.

    Its a bloody good movie!!

Too often I find sequels disappointing, particularly with your animated franchises. This is a massive exception. You'll laugh, you'll cry, applaud at the end. Was really, really impressed.

What are some of your favourite Kids Movies/Animated Movies.

As much as I'm a sucker for your classics like Bambi, The Lion King, Peter Pan etc, Pixar never seems to miss the mark these days.

Wall-E was an epically good film. Watched it for the first time at an outdoor twilight cinema, was really blown away.

Shrek gets a nod for its appeal to all ages.

The original Toy Story. I can remember when my son was a little tacker he'd watch it then as soon as it was finished he'd say "I want to watch it again!" I/we only lasted halfway through the follow up.

But like you say pretty much anything by Pixar.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Aladdin, only for the satire and cultural referencing of Robin Williams. Same for Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Up is one of my favourite movies ever, very deep for a animated film, issues dealt with like death and inabilty to have kids.

        Also love Coraline

Was on Youtube yesterday and found the clib towards the end of Monsters Inc where Sulley has to say goodbye to the little girl. I've had kids since I first saw the movie and my daughter is around the age of the little girl. Absolutely broke my heart watching it again.

The first 10 minutes of Up is amazingly beautiful. Rest of the film is..."squirrel"...pretty great too.

The Toy Story's are very good. While only short film's the two Gruffalo's are well worth watching.
Tangled is pretty entertaining. Enjoyed Despicable Me but thought the sequel was a bit of a misfire.

I was 11 when The Lion King came out, went and saw it at the cinema with my mum, younger brother, Aunt and cousin, and cried like a baby when Mufasa died.

It is one of the great scenes in cinematic history, from the stampede itself, the music, the maniacal parting words from Scar to Mufasa, ("Long Live the King!") and then the tear jerker of Simba trying to wake his father before cuddling up under his paw.

Cars - Michael Keaton as Chick Hicks is great.

The books are so much better than the movies.

Only discovered recently that Shrek was based on a book too, albeit a picture book -- this is one occasion where the film was an improvement (in my opinion)

I may the only person in the universe to have never seen The Lion King.

Cried like a baby in Toy Story 3, so did my husband. Our children were unmoved

The first part of the subject is Your Fav Kids Movie???

My son really liked the full length Thomas the Tank Engine Feature, Mystery Island Rescue.

Most of Hayao Miyazaki's catalogue, especially Spirited Away.
