To be quite honest, I was bored in parts. I am very much a 'first 4 albums' girl. They played nothing from the first two, four off Slippery When Wet and two off New Jersey. I knew some others that had been singles, but a lot I didn't know. I find their latest (last 20 years!) stuff too slow. I also thought Jon struggled with the vocals, a lot like Vince Neil did in March with Motley Crue.

I must say that Kid Rock was great, really surprised me. I only knew one song, but it didn't matter. His band and backing vocalists were fantastic!

Yeah I certainly see where u are coming from. Yes John does remind me of vince in that he's an 80's singer who can't cut it anymore. It happens to the best for sure. Father Time catching up. Listen to Paul Stanley now and Whitesnakes David Coverdale. To be honest, the only vocalist that looks to have strengthened over the time since the 80's is Michael Sweet from Stryper. Their new album is sensational!!!

Never been a fan of kid rock. Will have to check out some youtube footage.

I also agree with what you say about bon jovis last 20 years. Some good "hits" but the rest is a dribble compared to their first 4 albums.
I will never see #16 the same!!

I went in Adelaide last night. Massive crowd and an even better show. I'm not a big fan of Bon Jovi but it was far, far better than I expected. A couple of bung notes early but still one of the worlds great performers

Highlights for me were the covers of start me up and all night long (kid rock joined the band for that). The show lasted well over 2.5 hours and everyone who was there is raving about it. And a good way to say goodbye to footy park

Next month Springsteen, and the. The Rolling Stones!

Cheers. I'm lucky enough that my kids are now old enough so we can start going out again and leave them home alone, so getting our life back again

I've been to some ripper big stage shows in my life but still not sure that many were better than cold chisel last year
