    As Seen on TV

We have all seen those infomercials where great products are being sold and typically you can only by them off the Home Shopping websites.

Who of us has purchased something off there and what was your experience?

I had been tempted by the Flavorstone cookware pots and fry pans but in the end purchased something similar from a local homewares store going for a more trusted brand. I've been very impressed by them.

There must be a few members here who have purchased something based on the catchy advertisements.

Never bitten the bullet. If I did, it would be a schticky.

The closest I've ever done to TV selling was one night call into 'hotdogs' for those brain teasers that activated my thinking before bed. I didn't get through though, and now I'll never get to tell 'hotdogs' how much I loved him.

Never purchased, but for sheer stupidity, you can't beat TVSN. It's so stupid it's amusing.

Check out some of the YouTube reviews and you might change your mind. The mid size one seems handy if you have a dog and need to pick his fur off your clothes. The small one and especially the large one are laughable for their level of crapness.

I once bought the magnetic screen door as my bulldog is way too big for a dog door. The concept was actually quite good, but the quality of the product was atrocious.

Are you saying Vince Offer the creator of the schticky is not telling the full truth?
