    AC DC Rumoured to retiring

    Report from The Age

AC/DC may be announcing their retirement as soon as Tuesday, according to media reports. The famous rock band, which formed in 1973, is one of the most popular and highest-grossing bands of all time.Entertainment commentator Peter Ford told radio station 3AW on Tuesday morning that after last year's talk of a tour, nothing has been announced since.
"The suggestion is being put to me that tour will never happen and we will never see AC/DC perform again or record again," he said.

Is there a need to officially retire the band?

This is a post from Cherry Bar's Facebook page:

"I just heard the WORST rumour EVER!!

AC/DC to officially call it quits TODAY.

Weeks ago I heard something I kept to myself. The band got together for 40th anniversary show rehearsals and Malcolm had forgotten how to play guitar…. due to a clot on the brain caused by smoking.

I hope and pray this isn't true and that Malcolm Young will be OK because Malcolm Young is the engine room of the greatest tough rock n roll band the world has ever known."

      Terrible news if it's true.

Horrible news if true about Malcolm Young's ailing health. Is there a better rhythm guitarist in the history of rock than Malcolm?

Before Bonn Scott joined AC DC, Angus use to dress in a Zorro outfit. The next time I saw them, (with Bonn) he was in the school boy outfit. Loved him running up and down the stage. Saw him leap off all the speakers once at Festival Hall, from a great height. He was a lot of fun and as you say, can play too.

Once Bonn Scott died, I didn't really listen to them much, although Back In Black was pretty good.

Can remember Bonn wearing a schoolgirl uniform but can only remember Angus dressing up as a schoolboy.
Sure Angus was the one who dressed as Zorro, he did also sometimes dress up as Superman.
