    Vale Rik Mayall

Rick Mayall died in London this morning aged 56 apparently of natural causes. Rik was best known for his role in the Young Ones, which provided me with hours of entertainment as a teenager.

    RIP Rik.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

What a huge shock. Having two teenagers The Young Ones is on a fairly high rotation on our TV. We binge watched it on Saturday night.

      RIP (P)Rick.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

One of my favourite comedians. Loved the Young Ones and loved him in Bottom too. RIP Rik.

One of the really great comic cameos of all time.

Loved Rik, saw him live in Melbourne in the 80's and he was so funny. So young to die.

                      RIP.

Rik also plays a bit part as one of the pub men in American Werewolf In London, drinking in the Slaughtered Lamb, one of my all time favorite movies, Drop Dead Fred which is also a favorite and the really bad Guest House Paradiso....but I like it anyway.

Just picturing him on 'a freedom moped to oblivion.'

Hey, Kids! Stop Snogging and pay attention to me, because if you're the wild eyed loner standing on the gates of oblivion then hitch a ride with us 'cause we own the last freedom moped out of Nowhere City, And we haven't even told our parents what time we'll be back! So, put on your dancing trousers and get down to the total and utter King of Rock And Roll: CLIFF RICHARD!
