TV shows you just cant miss.

I have seen every episode of The Bill since 1991. Either on TV or on video afterwards I havent missed one since then. The DVDS are being released bit by bit so I decided to throw away all the old VHSs I had of the show.

I filled seven of those red, white and blue bags to take to the tip. Had to put the back seats down in the back of the V6 for the trip there.

Anyone else addicted to a particular show?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I was a strong The Bill follower for a few years but in the last 12 months have dropped off it a bit.
I was a mad Cheers fan and actually won a contest years ago where they asked obscure questions which I was able to answer. I had every episode taped.

I have a weakness for American sitcoms like Married with Children and that 70's Show.

About the only other series of shows I have watched is Prison Break. I didn't think much of it when I first watched it but remember being crook one day when they replayed the whole first series.

One other show that has sucked me in is the Dog Whisperer.

He isn't a dog trainer (tricks etc) but because he understands their 'pack mentality' he is able to identify what the dog is trying to do and he quickly corrects it.

The other night he went into a yard with a husky type dog that the owner said was vicious and 5 minutes later without hurting the dog in anyway, walked him out on a leash.

A few nights back this big burly fireman said that Ceaser (the guys name) wouldn't be able to handle his Rotty especially around other dogs. It took him under 5 minutes to have the Rotty walking on one side of him with another dog on the other.

          That's quite a skill.

I really like dogs and all but I couldnt imagine watching a whole show about training them. There was a show on FTV a while back where they trained dogs and owners who without exception were apalling people. It more of a feak show than an animal show and didnt last long.

The difference is he doesn't train the dogs with tricks or anything like that. He trains the people on how to handle the dogs. Once the owner realises all the mistakes they have been making and how quick the fix can be made they end up having far better control over the dogs.

                I'm a cat whisperer.

My feline friends around Glebe run straight past their owners to get to me.

You probably can train cats but they're just not interested. They are smart, self interested and trained killers. And can see in the dark.

I love them - they saved my life and my mum's life. I wouldn't be here but for cats.

I've got a mangy old cat who's been with me for the past 15 years. She keeps the mice population down, mothers my daughter whenever she's here, goes for a drive with me occasionally, goes to the toilet whenever I go to the toilet and likes to jump on my lap whenever I sit down-whether I want her to or not.

In an episode of Southpark Mrs Cartman got him in to train Eric and it worked
Once he left though Mrs Cartman allowed Eric to get away with murder again.

Prior to him showing up Eric had sent Super Nanny to a home with his antics.

I couldnt handle it if Cartman behaved himself. He says what my mind is usualy telling me to say.

Deadwood and Battlestar Galatica(2003->). Two of the best written and produced shows ever.
