Leonard Nimoy, actor who played Mr Spock on Star Trek, dies aged 83

Nimoy, who played the legendary character in the original Star Trek television series, died of pulmonary disease after being hospitalised earlier this week

I'm a big Star Trek fan, and was saddened this morning when I heard this news.

Not a Star Trek fan (I don't dislike it, I've just never actually watched it) but Nimov was a fine actor. Rest in peace.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

He played the Dr Spock role so well, rest in peace.

I'd seen him in a few other shows but obviously Star Trek was where he made his mark.
Will be remembered.

Also loved 'In Search of' when a pup.
