    Vale Dusty Rhodes

The American Dream died today from a fall, aged 69.

Thanks for the polka dots and for being such a good good guy.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

He was 69? Wow I didn't think he was that old.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Very Sad indeed. Was only last year that he was in the ring with his sons. A very proud father and a great wrestling figure. The world is a sadder place today.

One of the best matches I ever saw was Rhodes / Sapphire vs Macho / Sherri. The match went for nearly 30 minutes.

Who can forget dancing Dusty Rhodes. Loved his promos and his shoot interviews. Long live the bionic elbow. RIP Dusty.

I saw Cowboy Bob Orton v somebody and somebody got a cheap shot in early in the bout. Bob went apeshit and forgot the script and really went for it. Smacked 7 shades of shit out him.

Terrible news. Dusty was so charismatic, and he made polka dots cool - even though he hated that gimmick! A sad loss.

Never saw much of Dusty in the old WWF days, and I think he was in the other camp.
Cowboy Bob Orton and Rowdy Roddy Piper, those were the days

Yep agree on Rowdy. British Bulldogs Davey Boy Smith. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels going at it!

Cowboy Bob had a controversial broken arm for years.

Wow there's some great wrestling names right there.

Piper and Orton - crazy sons of bitches.

Hulk Hogan is gone from the WWE, allegedly due to a racist audio clip which is about to be released by the National Enquirer. Wade Keller of PWTorch retweeted a link to a post at thecoli.com which alleges “When the National Enquirer releases audio of the Hulkster dropping the N-word so liberally that insiders are saying “there’s no coming back from this.””
For now, all that is certain, is that WWE have removed Hulk Hogan from almost everything. He’s gone from wwe.com, he’s gone from wwe shop, he’s gone from Tough Enough, he’s even gone from the WWE Hall Of Fame page. That seems to indicate that there has been a very serious incident.
Even Curtis Axel’s Axelmania gimmick has been reverted back to plain Curtis Axel.
This story broke late on Thursday night, so details are still developing. WWE are yet to release comment and industry insider Dave Meltzer says “WWE web site told a few hours ago to remove all references to him. That’s all I know so far.”
However, Hulk Hogan has commented “In the storm I release control,God and his Universe will sail me where he wants me to be,one love. HH.”
