TEST cricket icon Shane Warne is going back to where it all began.

East Sandringham Cricket Club tonight confirmed the legendary leg-spinner would turn out for it in a South East Cricket Association match against Bentleigh ANA this Saturday at Chisholm Reserve.

He will join his former Victorian teammate Brad Hodge in the East Sandy team.

Hodge made his debut for the club on Sunday, hitting an unbeaten half-century and the winning runs against Washington Park.

“Kim said, ‘Of course we have’, so Shane said he’d see us at training on Tuesday night,’’ Ross said.

Who is Kim and why did he say "of course we have"?

Going out to face Shane Warne would be like a dream come true. I reckon I wouldn't be able to sleep for a week beforehand.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
