 Re: Spring Racing Carnival 2015

I don't want to just pop up a shameless plug for a mates business, mods can delete if you like, else PM me if you're interested in ladies' millinery hats for the races, handmade locally here in the West, she has won many awards incl recently at the Royal Show and many fashions on the field. So if you, or your lady, want a hat/fascinator to match your outfit PM me.

On the sporting side, not sure if I'll be able to top winning last year's Cup (my name is Ryan Moore) made a packet off that one! made a packet off that one!Comment

 Re: Spring Racing Carnival 2015

I might have a couple of dollars on a roughie in Mourinho since he is trained locally (in Moe). Would be a great win for the underdog.

Other than that I like the sound of Arod, but really it's just a complete guess. It's hard to assess the international horses and I am just a casual spring racing carnival punter. I have had a pretty good run in Melbourne Cups the past few years but I don't know if I've ever backed the Cox Plate winner!Comment

Saw a great story on Mourinho and the chicken brothers on ABC News the other night - good luck to them. I am going to go with the David Hayes trained Criterion.I might have a couple of dollars on a roughie in Mourinho since he is trained locally (in Moe). Would be a great win for the underdog.

 Re: Spring Racing Carnival 2015

Red Cadeaux has earned me a return for place bets the last two years, and I'll have to put some on him for a place again I think. It's a tough ask for him to feature at ten years of age, we'll see how he goes.

Did anyone see Quest for More's run at Geelong? He's blown out to $101.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

 Re: Spring Racing Carnival 2015

Was already in the cup field so didnt need to win but chipped a hoof so that explains the drift. Apparently fixed the problem but any setback for them isnt good. I couldnt split two of them and only decided on quest for more because of the weight swing it had. The other was Max Dynamite all he needed was a barrier so as soon as he got (2) i was all over him, he is a jumper but watch the Lonsdale replay and the track should be what he needs so Frankie just might finally pinch it.Red Cadeaux has earned me a return for place bets the last two years, and I'll have to put some on him for a place again I think. Fame Game flies but has a tricky draw and could end up 3 wide or might have to go right back and with 57kg will have to get alot of luck and im hoping Frankie has already gone whooska!Comment
