          I vaguely recall Michael Slater and Waugh falling out over the former being dropped.

          I guess the Captain's life is a lonely one. Something Warne never got to discovery because he was such a buffoon.

          Great cricketer, great tactician, terrible leader.

            Should have put Warne, Akermanis and Hird in the show they would have spent the whole show blaming everyone else.

              Slater lashed out at Waugh and Gilchrist for dropping him during the 01 Ashes, I think he was going through a marriage breakup at the time which didnt help. The Hayden/Langer partnership was installed and things kept rolling on
