Amazing that an out decision can be over ruled by a no ball by tv umpire, but a not out on a no ball can't be over ruled by tv umpire.

(Voges was bowled late in the day and it was called a no ball despite a heap of foot being behind the line - I guess the argument was Voges could've heard it, but, no)

I've thought about this before and agree your argument is the right one. Similar to the run out off a no-ball rule, I don't think you can have a batsmen being influenced in his decision making by an umpires call and then being given out.

He's like the Leicester of cricket - nobody rates him but he continues to perform.

He now has a test average of 98.5 and has just broken Tendulker's record for most runs scored without being dismissed-500.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

The tempo of this innings of Voges is interesting. He seems to go tora tora tora occasionally and then shuts up shop for five overs then it's hell for leather again.

So his average over 100 now?

As long as he doesn't go out. If he can get the not out does he retire just to be a footnote in history?

#BetterThanBradman would be a good sign off to every text, tweet or Facebook entry. He could throw in #BetterThanTendulkar on the above stat for his subcontinent friends.
