    Hang your head in shame Adam Scott

    I couldn't give a rats arse if you say "come on Aussie" when you fulfill YOUR own personal ambitions. What I want to see is you represent your country when it asks you to. That's what sporting sacrifice means.


    It offends me that you call yourself a sportsman when you don't understand what true sport means. You are nothing more than an entertainer. Go away and make some more money mate. That's what is obviously important to you.
    They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

      I agree with you TD, but the question I ask is Why TF is golf included in Olympics.

              Yep. That is a very good question and not one there is a sensible answer to. But while it is I would like Australia to send its very best team and Adam Scott is in that. That he says no to representing his country is appalling.

                  Thanks. I don't like the Olympic Games so I can't join in the passion this one.

                      I'm not a great fan of non team sports myself but olympics once every four years suits me nicely.

                      When I was a kid it and the World Cuo were the only events likely to provoke a 24 a day sporting cycle in Australia so I have some fondness for them.

                          Actually I lie. I like the Olympics when Bruce Macaveny goes overseas for a month during footy season and I don't have to hear him ruining football matches.

                              I know it's always been a very thin line but I liked it more when it was a amateur sporting event.

                                  No interest in the IOC, they're just one notch behind FIFA and as such the games mean nothing to me.

                                  Scott has long stated he doesn't believe the Games should include Golf so at least he's staying true to his beliefs.
                                  TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

                                      Pretty sure he can do whatever he wants for whatever motives he likes. If he doesn't want to play Golf at the Olympics then we possibly miss out one more opportunity as a nation for a self-congratulatory circle jerk about how grouse we are at sport. But there's always Jason Day...

                                                      Neither of them are in the NBA yet. I suspect their managers might not want to run the risk of them getting injured or performing poorly so have probably asked them to stand down

                                                          I think at the olympics if the sport isn't the pinnacle it shouldn't be an Olympic event
