No issue with him not playing.. If it was a team event I'm sure he would be there.

And his support of the Australian tour is unwavering, he doesn't play a full schedule, but he always comes back home to play.

When I think about it I suppose a spot on the Olympic team isn't something anyone just knocks back without thinking long and hard about it. He's probably as tempted as anybody and has his own reasons for not going

Now I'm more concerned about who is likely to be representing us. Like tennis players worth ten million bucks who can't be bothered trying when it all gets too hard.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

TD is this a bee in bonnet issue or a genuinely philosophical one?
        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

An attempt to see it from the other side, I genuinely don't know what would be more important than an experience like competing at the Olympic Games.

It's a weird one because if you strongly feel certain sports should not be there (soccer, tennis and golf are all great examples of sports that don't place that much value on the Olympics) then doesn't it make you a huge hypocrite if you go to play that sport. You can't publicly state that your sport shouldn't be at the Olympics and then take advantage of free trip, accommodation and tickets to participate in one.
I should leave it alone but you're not right
