Think he was the best. Always had a great insight into the game. His voice was made for commentating.

Tony Cozier and the halcyon days of West Indies V Australia. grew up with them and loved it.

We used to imitate him saying Bruce Laird's name in that distinctive way of his. As the bowler ran in somebody had to yel out "Laaared on strike"
