    Champion Cavs

Just won the series in a nail-biter game 7. Gives me hope that the Dogs can do the same.

So do we get Ward back as a part of a like for like comparison? #warddecides

Not a great NBA fan, but wonderful for the city after being so close with the Indians in the 90's

          Most unbelievable Finals ever?

The Chosen One returns and fulfills his promise.

Don't care for the Lebron love. Anyone who calls himself King and has to remind everyone and himself he's the GOAT knows he is not which he isn't. That being said a real good story for the fans in Cleveland, it's hard not to be happy for them.

Hopefully one day I'll be an avid supporter of the NBA. Supersonics! Bring 'Em Back!

It's just great to see underdogs with tragic histories bucking the trend this year.

First Leicester, now Cleveland. The Cubs could do it this year as well which would break the longest of droughts.

It gives supporters of our club that little bit of extra belief

Curses don't exist and if the odds can be broken in these leagues then they absolutely can be in the AFL

Every Sonic fan has put a curse on the Thunder and it's held up pretty well so far.

Yep, teams are either good enough or not. Nothing to do with curses, generational etc

Hmm, culture is different to a generational curse and is more relevant to organisational decisions than key moments in important games.

Kyrie Irving didn't hit his shot at the end because of a winning culture at the Cavs. LeBron didn't hit that block because of the winning culture at the Cavs. They did it because they are just unbelievably good.

Just like the Cats didn't beat us on the weekend because of our loser culture. They beat us on the weekend (and in 2008, 1994 etc) because their players played better than ours.

Fans like to use curses, culture etc as an excuse to explain away the form of their team, but if it was real, there wouldn't be so many counter examples. Leicester City, Cavs, Geelong in 2007, Sydney in 2005.

On point 1, I can't possibly see what's not to love. He maybe sacrificed an enduring legacy at Miami to go back to his literal and spiritual home to lead them to the promised land. Egos aside, it's a wonderful story.

On point 2 the stats might suggest otherwise. I'm a 90's kid myself, so it's hard for me to see anyone as better than Jordan, but I'm not sure if I'm just looking at it through rose coloured glasses. I guess this one is up for debate. My heart says Jordan, but my head says probably James.

Also, let's not slag him for the nickname "King" or for lapping up the accolades that come with it. I hardly think Jordan was the paragon of modesty either. But LeBron coaches his kids basketball games. I'd be surprised if Jordan even knew his kids names (that's just a gag).

I can understand how he got fans offside with the Miami decision (I'm taking my talents to Miami) but you have to love the romance of him coming back at the top of his game to drag a squad that has been horrible for years since he left to the promised land, and beating one of the greatest teams ever to do it.

And his NBA Finals was possibly the best of all time including 2 x 41 point games when they were 3-1 down and a triple double in game 7 in the toughest road trip in basketball.

Just an amazing performance and will silence the critics once and for all.
