Looks like Channel 9 have won the rights to broadcast tennis. Tennis is usually on at the same time as Cricket, so will be interesting if they also retain the cricket rights.

I think Channel 10 are in the box seat for the cricket. They have had the Big Bash and it would seem a natural fit for them. We might even get a better commentary team.

Massive loss for ch 7 - how are they going to promote MKR now?

Praying those pricks lose the footy rights next.

A tennis player we can all like.

I liked his after match interview where he mentioned that the only thing he can control is the effort he makes. That's something you can apply to sport, work and life.

And something some of our other tennis players could apply

Winning the tournament obviously didn't mean enough to Roger...

Serena Williams imploding on court at the moment after calling the referee a thief and earning herself a penalty
Osaka, playing beautifully at the moment

Hard to watch the after match celebration, the crowd was in poor form with their childish booing and it certainly had an impact on Osaka. She was obviously struggling in what was the biggest win of her short career.
Still she played a great game and will now get some recognition for being a seriously talented player

Serena ought to be ashamed of herself. The term 'Tennis brat' exists for a reason. She must have known how the crowd would react and went ahead with her carry on anyway.
