Our fielding was poor by our standards so there is still plenty of area's to improve.
An opener to make runs with Warner, our number three improving on spin and number six settling in is a good start to making this a golden era. Plus Pattinson getting and staying fit and a second younger spinner (than SoK) establishing themselves as a clear second would be just greedy, but good.

One of Renshaw, Burns and Bancroft need to grab the opening position and make it theirs.
Khawaja has to make runs against quality spin bowling and England didn't test him
The Marsh brothers answered the challenge but Anderson aside the England bowling was below the standard required for large patches of games.
Paine stepped up and has locked in the wicket keeping role
The 4 main bowlers performed well

Huge question mark on Pattinson if he will ever get back, Coulter-Nile doubtful as well. Bird just off the mark and Sayers an untested force. We need to find a couple of strike bowlers and 2 spin bowlers.

Great result , thought the Aussies would win , but it was pretty emphatic .
Stoked for Patrick Cummins after all the injuries. Agree with G on the need of the likes of Burns need to step up .
Shield being big bashed for a month or so doesn’t help .
