      Has anyone been watching ?

I love most of the events such as the Luge, Skelton, halfpipe, snowboard cross, downhill ski jump etc. Australia has only ever won 13 medals, but we are very competitive. The silver medalist in the snowboard cross , Jarryd Hughes has had 5 knee operations - what an effort.

I'll see your Jarryd Hughes and raise you a Belle BROCKHOFF, who made the final of the womens Snowboard Cross with only 1 ACL. She re-tore an ACL last year and there was no time for her to have it fixed and rehabilitate in time, so she's managing it as best she can.

Unfortunately Belle crashed in the semi, but great effort to make it to the games let alone to the semi final.

I am envious of these daredevils, they risk serious injury, but what a thrill.

Are these events on? Ch 7 only seems to be interested in showing pre-recorded montages of Australian athletes and endless coverage of Hammer in a sleeveless windbreaker asking idiotic questions to Australian medal winners.

Be nice if key events like the downhill were given prominence instead of shunted to a 5 min package well after midnight. But then what else would you expect from those pricks at ch.7?

              The coverage has been abysmal.

Bit harsh. Why show key Winter Olympic events when you can show Friday Front Bar prime time on Friday night?

Why can't ch 7 just fark off from all sporting coverage forever. They clearly don't give a shit.

Only has to stick the landing and a medal is hers.

Super Saturday at the Winter Olympics apparently. Multiple gold medals up for grabs supposedly. What have those bastards at ch 7 given us the last 2 hours? Yep, not a single bit of live footage. Instead we get wall to wall of that smug prick Hammer (and some other ch 7 'celebrity' that I have no idea who the hell she is) in sponsored winter gear recapping every event and interview THAT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED.

You can't make this shit up. Ch 7 should just fark off from all sports coverage forever so they can focus on their piece of shit reality tv shows and leave us sports fans in peace.

                              Re: 2018 Winter Olympic Games

Czech athlete Ester Ledecka is now the front-runner for best story of the games.

A World Champion Snowboarder, Ledecka entered the women's Super G downhill skiing. She borrowed a pair of skis from an American Skiier and was the 26th to take the course.

She's the first athlete, male or female, to compete in snowboarding and skiing in the same Olympics.

NBC, thinking no-one outside of the top 20 would medal, named Anna VEITH of Austria the gold medallist prior to Ledecka's run.

Ledecka produced the run of her life to pip Veith by one one-hundreth of a second and claim gold.

At the end of her run, Ledecka just stared at the clock, in disbelief at what she'd just accomplished.

I've attached the video. Its joyful to watch.
