Good result for Arsenal considering you weren't at your best. We looked to have the better of you guys in this game but just didn't take our chances. A lot of positive signs for United.

Amorim the quickest ever to 15 defeats without being a promoted side I read. I don't think that will have much bearing on the form line from here. Man U will be a tough prospect this season.

Massive first up win by Sunderland.
I only saw the extended highlights of the Sunderland match but it was nice to see their supporters filled with joy after some tough years.

                Watched Man Utd v Burnley.

Big relief as we get our first win of the season.

Far from a perfect performance. We have a lot of defensive issues.

We were the better team in the first half and should have led by more I feel at half time only going in 1-0. Had a lot of chances.

Burnley did much better 2nd half. They equalised then we went back in front 2-1 up through Mbeumo and they equalised again.

Bruno Fernandes scoring a penalty in stoppage time clinching it for us.

Untied really need a couple of good mids , they are playing Fernandes in the midfield , and according to many his not a midfielder, his a briliant 10 , but they have bought Mbeumo and Cunha who are both 10's and need to play , also sides this year will be so eager to put their keepers under pressure with high balls into the square .
They maybe in for a tough year , and they absolutly need to make top 5 , to get into Champions league , they really need the revenue that comes with it , without CL they will fall futher behind the top 5 or 6 clubs .

Big news overnight, SPurs remove Daniel Levy as chair after 25 years. Some interesting articles in the press -

A divisive figure at the club. Brought them real financial stability; build the best stadium in the Europe (and possibly the world); but 2 trophies in 25 years is a telling testament to underachievement on the field. I personally like Levy and like the way he steered the club through some challenging periods, but also I can see how holding a tight rein on the club's spending is holding them back from really achieving on field success. Wont really know if it is a good thing or a bad thing until a few years time, but a quarter of a century is a long time and he should be recognised for the good things he has done for the club.

I think the writing was on the wall that Levy would't be around much longer , when they spent a fair bit of money in the transfere period with the acquisition of Mohammad Kudus , Mathys Tel and Xavi Simons .
They did collect around 100 million pounds for making Champions league , so have invested in players .

Ange new Forest manager, get the feeling this won't end well.

Things were cracking along with Nuno and they’ve messed that up due to the owner.
Not an ideal circumstance to come in to, although it’s a pretty good squad.

They have sacked 7 managers over the past 8 years

TBH that feels pretty standard for most Premier League teams..
