How long will Ange last?

I felt for him this morning. He changed tactics which he rarely does and went with a back 3 where the wing backs made a back 5 when not in possession.

They actually had some decent chances and were very difficult to break down.

I think they need to stick with him, of course he needs some results.

The international break isn't going to ease the pressure sadly.

He should point to his record and then say anything that aligns with the never complain, never explain mantra and finish it up. I think Leigh Matthews is a massive wanker but the never complain never explain mantra he brought to coaching when dealing externally was the template for coaches not wanting to get dragged into the bullshit - because you'll never win against the media and unreasonable fan sentiment. Ange just can't stop justifying himself, his record or whatever (honestly, I'd be the same if I was him).

It was probably foolish of him to have taken on this particular coaching role as well. It had hairs all over it and it's clearly an unstable environment. I hope he negotiated an extremely good severance clause.
