I just saw a catch that Cameron Green made. For a guy playing his first game since back surgery it was an excellent diving catch and highlights he close to full fitness.

Green has been back playing for quite a while now - played the World Test Championship as well as Windies tour and ODIs and T20s for Australia. Just hasn't bowled until now.

Interesting to see some unheralded leggies having good early success - Chaudhary, Pope and Doug Warren have all done some good stuff.

Lloyd Pope looks a far better cricketer than I've seen previously. His control is much improved

Warren is left arm orthodox, saw a highlight of him bowling Jake Lehmann with a beauty yesterday.

Ah, right you are! I was confused with Callum Stow who bowled some left arm leggies for Victoria during the recent one day stuff.

Good to see Ollie Peake get the Vics home with a very composed 70.

Great effort by 19 year old Oliver Peake to guide the Vics home in a 4th innings run chase. Top scored with 70 from 147 out of 6/231 after coming in at 3/84 after the two most experienced batsmen in Harris and Handscomb fell in consecutive balls.

Kellaway at 22 years the next best with 40 in a good showing from the young guys after Harris and Handscomb got amongst the runs in the first innings.

Terrific win by the Vic and full credit to Peake for holding his nerve and steering us home
Warren was the player of the match.

There was a draw in the Tas vs QLD game.
Labuschagne was the player of the match

NSW prevailed in their game against WA
Will Salzmann was the player of the match with a couple of handy scores.

I watched a little bit of it and thought Harper's innings was really important as well. South Australia were on top at that point and he turned the momentum.

I'm not much of a Harper fan but admittedly I don't watch Shield games, just follow results.

I do watch him in the BBL though and he mostly sucks. He also averages 25 in first class cricket which isn't enough for a keeper. I'm hoping we have a young keeper coming through.
